Important Note About Ozone Shock Treatment

The source of any odor must be removed before ozone treatment. If the smell source is not removed (e.g. garbage, mold, dead rodents, etc.), no amount of ozone can eliminate these odors completely. The treatment areas must also be properly cleaned for ozone shock treatment to work properly.

Ozone can eliminate all pet odors such as:

  • Fur – Animal Fur, especially if damp, is rife with bacteria that leave unpleasant odors.

  • Urine – Animal urine contains ammonia which is a potent chemical with a very pungent smell. Not only can lingering ammonia cause unpleasant odors, it also serves as a marker that animals use for them to do their "business"

  • Feces – When animal feces break down, it not only leaves behind a noxious odor but it can also attract flies and other insects

Interesting Facts

  • Ozone not only works 3125 times more efficiently than chlorine and it also leaves no toxic residue
  • Removing Urine and Feces odors can improve success with housebreaking young pets
  • Most traditional cleaning solutions that mask pet odors often don't remove the other chemicals found in urine and feces

Animal odors are some of the most difficult odors to treat. Over a billion dollars is spent annually creating new products to mask the odors our furry friends leave behind. Ozone works to ensure pet odor is completely eliminated. There's no lingering odor left after the ozone clears and no chance of the odor returning. Ozone removes pet odor by oxidation which completely removes the odor instead of just masking it.
