  • Comprehensive home inspection with report that encompasses the Tarion Construction Performance Guidelines (CPG) with pictures and references to CPG.​
  • Inspection takes approximately 2 ½ to 3 hours with digital report within 24 – 48 hrs.

A New Home Warranty Inspection and a Residential Home Inspection are NOT the same. A Residential Home Inspection does not address all items covered by your Builder's New Home Warranty. Caution must be used when choosing a company to perform your New Home Warranty Inspection. At Rival Home Inspections we specialize in the Tarion Construction Performance Guidelines AND are certified in Home Inspections as per the Province of Ontario regulated guidelines (CAN/CSA A770-16)

​   Rival Home Inspections will do a complete inspection on your new home looking for defects in construction and safety hazards. In the first year of your new home warranty the builder is to repair all deficiencies at their expense so this is the best time to get things fixed right and save money in the future. These inspections are generally done just in sync with the Tarion 30-Day and First Year statutory claim periods (first 30 days after possession or final 30 days of the first year possession).​​
